Following on from the last few weeks, times have felt uncertain for many of us. Coming to the realisation that our new way of social distancing is becoming our new normal, Etag have been making changings to ensure the safety of our team and our customers first and foremost. Our aim is to continue the supply of construction materials to sites as safely as possible and we have been successful in this.
We have been following the NHS guidelines closely and made each change with their guidance in mind. Our trade counter for the moment is closed. However, customers are able to call ahead an order to collect from our warehouse in a safe manner. Our Trade Counter will be open again soon, where it has been fitted with a Perspex screen for the protection of all.
The majority of our office staff are now working remotely and we have put in place pay by link invoices to allow customers to be able to pay in their own time. We have also set up a virtual terminal allowing customers to be able to pay over the phone at ease.
We have also updated our product range with a number of protective products that will allow sites to remain open and promote social distancing to be done practically and safely on sites. We have also made donations of PPE, such as masks and hand sanitiser to local hospitals in East London.
The rapid building of the NHS Nightingale hospitals across the UK has been an inspiring moment n the construction industry. Companies have come together with the goal to supply and build extra capacity for the NHS. Etag played a small part in supplying essential products to the NHS Nightingale hospitals being built in London.
Etag will continue to assess the Covid-19 situation and strive to supply sites. As always, our product range is guided by the needs of our customers, and we will continue to provide innovative protective material allowing essential work to be continued on construction sites in a safe manner.
